Who we are

BanglaConverter (banglaconverter.co) is operated by Tech Interval LLC, 1209 Mountain Road Pl NE, Ste R, Albuquerque, NM 87110, United States. In this policy “we”, “us” and “our” mean Tech Interval LLC, and “the site” means banglaconverter.co.

The short version: your text stays in your browser

This is the most important thing to understand about the site, so we will be specific.

Conversion runs on your device. Bijoy ⇄ Unicode conversion, Avro phonetic typing, the Bangla keyboards, the word counter, the date and number converters and the letter generator are all JavaScript running in your browser. The text you type or paste is never sent to our servers, and we never see it.
Files you open are read locally. When you use “Open File” to open a .txt, .doc or .docx file, the file is read by your browser and converted in memory. It is not uploaded anywhere.
Downloads are generated locally. The .txt and .doc files you download are assembled in your browser from what is already on screen.
We have no user accounts. There is nothing to register for, so we do not hold names, passwords, addresses or phone numbers.

What is stored on your device

Some tools save your work and preferences so the page is useful when you come back. This uses your browser's local storage. It stays on your device, we cannot read it, and clearing your browsing data removes it.

Cookies and third parties

The site itself sets no cookies. Cookies on the site come from the third-party services below.

Google AdSense

We show ads through Google AdSense (publisher ID ca-pub-7343304187977090). Google and its partners may use cookies and similar identifiers to serve and measure ads, including personalised ads where permitted. Google's use of advertising cookies is described in How Google uses information from sites that use its services. You can control ad personalisation at My Ad Center, and opt out of third-party vendor cookies at aboutads.info/choices.

Ads are served on the page. Ad code does not receive the text you convert — that text is never transmitted from the page at all.

Google Analytics

We use Google Analytics 4 (measurement ID G-27TEVDMYM9) to count visits and see which tools are used. It sets the cookies _ga and _ga_27TEVDMYM9 and records the page you viewed, approximate location derived from your IP address, device and browser type, and referring site. It does not receive anything you type. You can block it with the Google Analytics opt-out add-on.

Cloudflare

The site is delivered through Cloudflare, which processes requests to protect against attacks and to serve pages quickly, and provides aggregate traffic analytics. See the Cloudflare Privacy Policy.

Server logs

Like nearly every website, our server records a line for each request: IP address, date and time, the URL requested, HTTP status, referring page and user-agent string. These logs are used for security and for diagnosing faults. They are not used to build profiles of individuals and are not sold. They are kept only as long as needed for those purposes.

External data we display

Some pages show data fetched by us, not by you: weather from the Norwegian Meteorological Institute, and currency reference rates. Your browser requests these from our own domain, so those providers do not receive your IP address. Sources are listed on our Credits and licences page.

Children

The site is a general-audience utility and is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us personal information, email us and we will delete it.

Your rights

Because we hold no accounts and no user-submitted text, there is usually nothing for us to export or delete about you. Where you do have rights over data held by our third-party providers, those rights are exercised as described below.

If you are in the EU/UK (GDPR): you may request access to, correction of, or deletion of personal data, object to processing, or lodge a complaint with your supervisory authority. Our lawful basis for analytics and advertising is consent where required, and legitimate interest for security logging.
If you are in California (CCPA/CPRA): you may request disclosure of the categories of personal information collected and request deletion. We do not sell or share personal information for cross-context behavioural advertising in exchange for money.

Data transfers and security

Tech Interval LLC is based in the United States, and our servers and providers may process data in the United States, Europe and Singapore. The site is served over HTTPS.

Changes

If we change this policy we will update the date at the top of this page. Material changes will be noted on the home page.
