How It Works
- Every Bangla word in your text is checked against a dictionary of more than 440,000 words.
- Words that are not in the dictionary are marked, and close correct spellings are offered as suggestions.
- Clicking a suggestion replaces that spelling everywhere in the text.
- The whole process happens in your browser — your text is never sent to a server.
Frequently Asked Questions
Does it flag names as misspelled too?
A person's or place's name, a new word or a regional word may be marked if it is not in the dictionary — that does not mean it is wrong. A marked word means "not found in the dictionary", not "definitely a mistake".
How does it differ from the government "Sothik" checker?
The government's Sothik sends your text to a server and checks grammar as well as spelling — worth using for heavier editing. Ours runs entirely in your browser: nothing leaves your device, results are instant, and once loaded it works without an internet connection.
Can I check text written in Bijoy (SutonnyMJ)?
Convert it to Unicode first with the Bijoy to Unicode converter, then paste it here.
